Encore Enterprises, which runs Encore Music Service (formerly Herefordshire Music Service), has a well-established list of ‘Accredited Teachers’ (Approved Contractor Register) who teach instrumental and vocal lessons to pupils in the county’s LA schools, Free Schools and Academies. The list covers most instruments and voice.
Each teacher works on a self-employed basis, invoicing parents directly. An agreed hourly charge rate of £33.00 per hour from Sept 2023 is in place in order to establish consistency across all schools and providers. Lessons will be on an individual, paired and group basis.
Currently, Encore Enterprises works with nearly every school in the county and, compared with music services nationally, has higher than the average percentage of pupils learning with us.
We are currently recruiting to our ‘Accredited Teacher List’ talented musicians with the drive and skills to teach and enthuse young people and are seeking to appoint a Percussion Specialist. Candidates should state any additional instruments they are able to teach to Grade 5 standard.
A willingness to travel throughout the County will be an advantage.
