"At 3:30 on 10 July, the English Symphony Orchestra will be presenting the next instalment in our Shirehall Sundays concert series in Hereford- a special family concert celebrating the art of musical storytelling with theme music from film and TV including Harry Potter, Batman and Toy Story and wonderful musical settings of classic children’s stories by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen. At 2:30 PM, we’ll be presenting a “try-an-instrument” session, when young people can try any of the instruments of the orchestra under the guidance of professional tutors and sign up for music lessons. Our inspiring Artist-in-Residence, the charismatic baritone, actor and cellist Matthew Sharp, is our host and narrator. We’re very pleased to make available a number of FREE tickets for students in our associated youth programmes (ESO Youth, Encore Enterprises and Hereford Sixth Form College) and their families. To take advantage of this offer, simply click here and you’ll be able to request up to 6 complimentary tickets per family while supplies last. Tickets for the general public are also very affordable and we would very much appreciate you encouraging your friends and neighbours to join us at the concert. Tickets are available here. We look forward to seeing you on 10 July" Team ESO
