Encore Enterprises is a not for profit Community Interest Company which runs Herefordshire Music Service and is the Lead Organisation of the Herefordshire Music Education Hub. As part of an exciting development, the work of The Music Pool charity will soon be transferring to Encore. This will increase the work of the organisation by around 25% to incorporate Early Years and Adult services.
Our new post of Assistant Manager will take responsibility for all of our community work; traditional county music ensembles, a popular music programme, services to adults (including those with disabilities and older people), along with other projects. This is an interesting and very varied role for someone who has the skills to support, manage and develop a range of musical opportunities for the whole community.
Encore is a friendly and hard-working organisation. We have extremely committed staff, teachers and other artists. You will find lots of support - including excellent ‘business support’ that enables you to focus on your managerial role.
The post is offered on a variable contract of 0.4-0.6 all year round (FTE 29,636 – 32,878pa, pro rata). There may be some flexibility in the exact hours for the right candidate. The post is fixed term for two years, although we hope to make it a permanent position after this as our services increase.
