Salary/Grade: £90 per session (2hrs plus 15mins to allow for set up/clearing of equipment)

Encore Enterprises CIO, (formerly Herefordshire Music Service), are seeking an inspiring, enthusiastic and skilled Percussion Tutor to join our Youth Music team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our talented young musicians aged 6–21, helping to develop the next generation of percussionists in a supportive and ambitious musical environment.

 

Encore Youth Music provides a great avenue to grow and develop skills as a young musician and to enjoy the many creative benefits, learning opportunities and the sociable experience of working as a team within their musical community.

 

The role covers percussion support for our Junior, Intermediate and Youth Concert Bands for a total of 16 Saturday morning rehearsals through the Autumn and Spring terms from September – April. Saturday rehearsals take place from 9.30am-11.50am in Hereford starting on 12 September. Members will work towards performing for a number of concerts/events per Spring/Autumn term. Concerts would be worked at in addition to the Saturday rehearsals. Please contact us for further details.

 

The successful candidate will deliver quality support across the range of orchestral percussion. They will guide students through their musical development and encourage progression through the concert bands.
