Music Development Plan, Summary and Music Model Curriculum

In this session, we will look at writing a Music Development Plan for your school and will explore the template published by the DfE in the summer term 2024, which they expect you to publish on your school website. The important aspects of this plan will be explained, and we will also look at how the Model Music Curriculum may shape your plan. For those of you who are new to these documents, they will be summarised so you leave the session feeling a bit more knowledgeable and confident when it comes to writing your own. If you already have a plan in place, it would be great for you to come and share your thoughts and ideas. The session will be led by Sue Walker (Encore’s Music Education Manager) but any experiences, thoughts and opinions will be very much encouraged!
