The Early Hurly Burly Project is an Early Years project involving many partners from Local Authority Areas across the West Midlands. The partners are from Music Services and Libraries. The project is overseen by Encore Enterprises CIC (with whom the grant is held) and led by Jo Henshaw (independent consultant). All partners are working together to offer this fantastic project to our communities.

Together, working in partnership, we are offering to our communities:

• 9 performances of the theatrical music production Smile by specialist producer MishMash at 9 regional community venues in disadvantaged areas

• 15 musician-led “Smile” family workshops (3 in each area) to develop learning & support relationship-building skills between carers/children

• A regional EY CPD workshop led by “Smile” musicians open to project musicians

• A sharing“Smile” Symposium bringing together practitioners, artists, venue staff and other community leaders to share EHB3 learning
