LIVEWIRE Saturdays

Unfortunately we are not able to take any additional pupils for Livewire Saturdays at the present time. Please do keep an eye on this page as more information about the 2024-25 sessions starting in Sept 2024 will be added in due course.

Livewire Saturdays Gig Announcement:

For those who wish to attend our Livewire Saturdays End Of Term Gig @ The Goods Shed, MFA Bowl on the 2nd May, we have an update regarding the venue.

Unfortunately the lift is now not in a useable state and will not be fixed in time for the gig. Chris has been to visit the venue again and we are able to use two staircases inside the Goods Shed at MFA Bowl as alternatives to the steps on the outside of the venue. We think both the interior staircases are easier to use, one is also wider. We make every effort to ensure inclusivity including disabled access at our shows, but have decided that as the performance is two weeks away we will continue at the venue.

Venue: Hereford College of Arts,

            Folly Lane, Hereford, HR1 1LT

When: Saturdays (see dates below)

Time: 1:30pm to 4:00pm

Livewire is our all-inclusive Popular Music programme for all young people in Herefordshire. Anyone aged 11-21 can get involved in Livewire, whether they are accomplished musicians or just starting out.

Members of Livewire can also join any of our other ensembles if they play an appropriate instrument to the required standard. A list of other ensembles can be found here

There is no extra charge for joining another ensemble.

Check out the video at the top of the page for a walkthrough of the Saturday sessions and for more information, please contact Lisa Lyness: lisa@encore-enterprises.com

"Great to see the young people enjoying themselves. It was particularly impressive how the older ones mixed in so well with the younger ones."
