Bursary Application
FAQS

Herefordshire Music Fund is now accepting bursary applications!

The application form and FAQs page can be found to the right.

Please note that applications can't be saved and returned to later. We therefore recommend having the following items ready before completing your application:

  • If you are applying for a bursary because your child is in receipt of Free School Meals, you will need a scanned copy of the letter you received from the Revenue and Benefits Service of Herefordshire Council confirming that your child is eligible to receive free school meals.

  • If you are applying for a discretionary bursary, you will need to prepare a statement explaining the reasons for your application including your financial circumstances. You will also need to state your total household income (before tax). This information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

  • For tuition bursaries, the following information will be required:

    • Approximate standard of your child.

    • Name of the tutor.

    • Tutor's contact number and email address.

  • For activity bursaries, the following information will be required:

    • Type of activity.

    • Name of the organisation running the activity.

    • Contact name, phone number and an email address.

    • The cost of the activity.

    • Details of the activity including dates.
